South-East Londoner Kai Kwasi has dropped his impressive new single, ‘sms’, just a few weeks after his debut unt. It’s an atmospheric track centred on his delicate, melodic voice and clean guitars that are soon joined by a drum pattern almost impossible not to nod along to. If the track wasn’t already filled with enough of a good vibe, a saxophone wanders into the texture for an ethereal solo. On the video, Kai explains: “The visual for 'sms' picks up where my last track & video 'unt' left off. Keeping the same people on board, we just tried to have fun shooting again.
